I need a cake for a special person 1,000 miles from here and looked into their local bakeries without any spectacular reviews.
Harry & David offers quick delivery on dry ice and a wide selection, but my results as a recipient of their products has not always been perfect.
Any other suggestions? Cake type can be whatever I decide- strawberry shortcake, cheesecake etc.
Thanks

If you found a local restaurant or baker that didn't deliver themselves you could look at Uber Eats.

May help to tell us at least what City the cake needs to be delivered.

Yes, sorry. Monmouth County NJ. Belmar area. I'm not seeing any rave reviews about any local bakers and want to send a nice cake better than the local Shop Rite.

Does it need to be a cake? Had great service from Sharri's berries sp? and Edible arrangements. Most people love them

Thanks. Shari's Berries looks good.
Does not need to be a cake at all but Shari's does have some nice looking ones.
Just looking for festive, tasty, better than supermarket/Costco.

My step-son sends Shari's Berries to my wife for occasions like her birthday or Mother's Day. Chocolate covered strawberries.

One "gotcha" though, when delivered, they should not be left sitting un-refrigerated, especially in August! You don't want to wind up with a mess of gooey melted chocolate just because nobody was home to accept delivery.
