Keep digging dumbass... being in FL, you'll hopefully drown in your own effluvium.

Unbelievably disrespectful to question Kelly's integrity like that. Disgusting.

It’s easier to question someone’s integrity when you have none.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Clinton's former spokesman, Brian Fallon:

"Kelly isnt just an enabler of Trump. He's a believer in him. That makes him as odious as the rest. Dont be distracted by the uniform."

*********

The political and cultural lines have never been drawn more clearly.

It isn't hard to figure out which side to stand on.

Every time I think about President Trump, these 3 things blend together:

1. What an incredible battle he has had to fight, and continues to fight, against fanatical opposition from every direction

2. How he has tapped into the thinking, priorities, and values of so many Americans who show up to work and obey the law

3. There is profoundly more wisdom and fairness in the core values of every day people than in the elitists & radicals that want to rule us

...and right on cue.......

Further, Wilson claimed that one of Kelly’s terms for her – an empty barrel – was “racist,” even though she also said she hadn’t heard of an empty barrel before.

Gen. Kelly is much more restrained than me....I'd just called her a stupid twat who's never done anything but make the world a worse place just by stealing our oxygen

Such a moving, genuine share by General Kelly and some liberals STILL trying to crap all over his message. I will not say her name, but that "cowgirl" is the representative that her constituents rightly deserve because their level of stupidity is one and the same. If you can still vote for her, especially after this, you are what is wrong with this country, parties aside. Sadly there is a wide divide that has developed and exists with some that can never be bridged. It is difficult to even tolerate them let alone come to some common ground and understanding. Contrary to what some might think these days, there are some things that are just plain right and wrong by ANY reasonable and rational standard, and it is evident that no such integrity, morality, or rational thought process exists for some in this respect.

I think the "Empty Barrel" comment was referring to her side job as a rodeo clown.

I have to respectfully disagree.....Rodeo Clowns serve a useful purpose. Distracting the bull to keep the rodeo rider safe by putting themselves in danger.......I can't see "that person" doing anything like that.

Such news is hard to deliver or receive.

No one "wants to" be on either end of that conversation.

And anyone, anyone who gets in the middle for even the most infinitesimal selfish interest is of the lowest of rungs in the human ladder.

To have any further thing to say than that to anyone who brings the discussion about the call Trump made, is a complete waste of dignity.

Thanks for the video. I certainly teared up.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

I wish she hadn't released this call. As General Kelly noted so aptly in his comments yesterday, these calls should always be private, and aside from the stupid that is Washington. The vast majority of this country who are aware of this issue stand with General Kelly and the president and are disgusted by the comments and actions of this piece of human filth embarrassing Florida. Releasing this call changes nothing for those who believe the president acted properly or those who hate him because he exists.

Yes, but now, the most important thing is the 15 minutes of fame, attention. Some reporter contacted every next of kin and persuaded them that it was history, public’s right to know, sell newspapers, etc.

Educated, mature, sensible people know that is baloney.

Look, though, what private, or humiliating, or revealing things people put on Faceplant, Twitter.

Shame is so old fashioned.

The DEMs are well organized to attack from every direction.

Planned Parenthood:

"This is part of a pattern of Trump admin attacking & undermining Black women. It’s despicable. We stand with @RepWilson & all Black women"

**************

The DEMs don't have many drums but they sure beat the few they have. America is divided into a group that continually believes the worn out propaganda, and another group that has become numb and disbelieving to the same old fabricated outrage

I thought twice about listening to it. It's the family's right to do what they want with the call, so a felt listening would not be disrespectful. As a side note, I would have no problem if a military widow reached out to her Representative to issue a statement on her behalf. But that's not what happened here. Not by a long shot.

Did a cursory glance of the article. Even by "The New Yorker" standards it's a stretch. Purposely misses the point of Kelly's statements. The line between journalism and clickbait is getting harder to see.

More liberal projection. If they had even the slightest chance of overthrowing our current government (and I'm not talking about Trump) and replacing it with their version of liberal utopia they wouldn't hesitate.

The article just talks to what they wistfully long for but know will never happen.
