I ordered my pressure washer online from watercannon.com back in 2012. It was free shipping and no tax, and still the same today.

I researched both the Honda engine and the pump.

What I bought has the Honda GX200, General Triplex pump (made in Italy), 2.8gpm, 3200psi, 50' hose, and of course trigger gun, wand, chemical injector and QC nozzles.

To me, the Honda GX engine was a must as well as having a triplex pump (instead of axial).

What is your budget ?

Obviously, if you're looking for a Honda engine then look at the GX.

I know little about the Echo pressure washer (looked one over at my local Ace Hardware), but online it says their engine is made by Rato (Chicom) and it only gets OK reviews on HD's website.

Simpson with Kohler motors have a great reputation for reliability and bang for buck. For a few dollars more, Simpson with Honda GX engine .

Looking at this one now which appears to be a rebranded Simpson:

DEWALT GX200

Here is the comparable Simpson from Water Cannon ...

https://www.watercannon.com/pr...ressure-washer-60689

The Dewalt does look like this Simpson rebranded.

The only difference I see is that the Dewalt has a 1/4" x 25 ft hose where as the Simpson from Water Cannon has a little larger and longer hose at 5/16" and 35 ft long.

Otherwise close in price once add in your state sales tax for the Dewalt.

I have had good service from my HF 3200psi power washer.
I bought an extension hose and a round Karcher concrete head, both make working with it a pleasure.

If you have a Northern Tools in your area... go there... you will be amazed at the options as well as all the other accessories they have. I got one of their store brands on sale a few years ago and it does a great job.... only interesting issue is they don't come with oil in the engine and if you don't put enough in ... it won't start.

After being reminded of Pauls GC/GX debacle, I've switched t Simpson PS3228 w/Honda GX200 o:

I have a Ryobi with the Honda GC engine. I only used canned "true fuel" gas in it, and have had no issues in 2 seasons so far.

They really sip the gas, so it works out well. I never use pump gas as I hear the GC engines are particularly sensitive to it.

I wouldn't recommend it for commercial work, but for my homeowner needs it's quite nice.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.
