Get my pies

Updated this one: Decided to go with gas, preferably a Honda engine

I’m looking to go in on a good GAS electric power washer with my FIL and BIL, we’d all split the cost 3 ways and keep it at the FIL’s house for all three of us to use as needed.

This is what I’m looking for:

1. Basic power washing of patios and sidewalks etc. Don’t need or want a million PSI
2. Something easily transported in back of van or SUV
3. Gas powered, would like a Honda engine

Any suggestions of what to get and where?

Thank you!

I got a Ryobi 1700 psi electric power washer and so far it has been great.

It does everything that I want it to do, which is to wash my car and to power wash my driveway and sidewalk.

I have like 6 different tips, for different uses and they seem to do a great job. The price war good, I don't remember what and it was on sale plus the military discount, even better. I bought it around memorial day.

I have this one, and it is good also, has a little more grunt than the Ryobi. Go ahead and buy the surface cleaner if you don't want to take forever cleaning driveways and decks. It is still slow, but much better than using the tips.

I just bought this and did my driveway, sidewalk, and patio 2 weeks ago. it worked very well, the turbowasher head included was a nice upgrade, and it’s more stable design (didn’t tip over) and real wheels (actually roll) was worth the extra money compared to the other Sun Joe linked.

I paired it with this $30 surface cleaner.. Worth every penny as it did a nice job and was much easier than regular nozzles or the turbo nozzle. My Dad ended up buying one after listening to me talk about it.

I bought a ryobi power washer last spring. I wanted something more convenient than using my gas power washer.

https://www.ryobitools.com/pro...tric-pressure-washer

2000 psi 1.2 gpm. The reel for the pressure washer hose is a joke. I just bought quick connect fittings and coil the hose by hand.

Works good with a foam cannon to give your car a quick wash.

Also I believe Ryobi is the only electric power washer with a 3 year warranty.

Good to hear. Have one in my cart for summer.

I’ve been very pleased with the SunJoe.

I looked at them two years ago, none of them had long enough hoses.

so now you are doing one side of the car , then moving the hose ,the cord and the unit , then doing the front of the car and moving the cord ,the hose and the unit.

too much stopping moving and starting again ,

They sell extension hoses.

I got this one, real handy for the less demanding jobs.

So Ryobi and Karcher are the two brands to stick with?

Lowes has Greenworks looks a lot like a Karcher.

They sell them side by side.

They are often running a 33% off sale.

I bought mine for $200.

I've had good luck with this Sun Joe model. I've used it for my cars, deck, driveway/patio, and cleaning my siding.

If you get into adding hoses and different triggers make sure that your connectors you get work. My SunJo made it interesting but I went to all quick connectors for convenience.

Now looking at picking up a GAS power washer instead of electric. Both myself and the FIL would preferably like a Honda engine, BIL doesn't care (we are doing a group buy and just share it as needed, we all live close by each other)

Found a highly rated Ryobi at Home Depot that has a Honda engine and an Echo at the local outdoor power equipment shop I bought my Honda HRX mower from last year.

I'd rather give the local place my business and think it may be better for future service (if needed) than the big box store?

What would you guys recommend? Or are they both good?

The Ryobi has a Honda engine

The Echo has an Echo engine

Both are medium duty, 3100 PSI units

Thanks!
