No coal for the egg, so it's gas on cast iron for reverse cowgirl.

Michael, Tabitha's son works at the supermarket, so he is buddies with the butcher and we got these for cost.

Yum!! Looks great. I like the pan - what is it?

2 huge ribeye’s and a filet? Cooking over low-med heat w/ butter?

I regret not buying a steak for this week now. Just fish and chicken…. Next week, steak is definitely on the menu now.

BTW - what’s with the green stuff in the potato? That don’t seem right Smile. Especially if it’s not counter balanced w/ bacon… Smile

It's a Lodge from the Tennessee plant.

Garlic butter, sea salt, cracked pepper and olive oil.

It's as high as the gas burner will go until the olive oil was smoking, then sear steaks both sides then in the 400º oven for 4 minutes.

Thanks. I’ll try to find the pan - looks like a nice one. 2 steaks don’t fit well in my round one.

Btw, if your burner can put out the heat, I’ve found avocado oil adds another 100 degrees or so to sear temp over olive oil.

Those ribeyes look really good, my favorite steak of all to cook. I've been looking for a cast iron grate for my egg, so I could sear, then turn down the flames and cook...
