Great karma - Count me in. Something positive is we are planning our first vacation in like 5 years. Going to a all inclusive in the Dominican for a full week with the kid.

My job is a production role and it's really hard to step away as it's commission based. So it's really needed and I'm really looking forward to. T-Minus 4 week!!

Congrats on the 20 year anniversary. Please include me in your Karma.

Today we worked out the details to see all the grandkids this summer. It's a bit of a logistic issue because two live in Europe and two are in a different state. Really looking forward to July.

Congratulations on your 20 years on here.

Count me in.

Recently, my wife and I changed jobs and moved. Househunting is not for the faint of heart. We go to church, and I told my wife that God would take care of us. After 2 contract miscarriages on other houses, we finally found one that is convenient to work, shopping, doctors, etc., in a quiet neighborhood. So God continues to take care of us.

Very generous and thank you for the opportunity.

First and foremost, at 60 years old I think it is a positive the I can still read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions.

Other great stuff I got going on is I just got over having Covid for the second time, two weeks ago I beat a surprise kidney stone, and 3 months ago I had successful surgery to replace a couple of herniated discs that were causing some pretty severe nerve impingement. No complications or lasting concerns with any of it and only way they could have gone better would be to have not had the issues to start with.

Been a heckuva year so far, but I am a big believer in “Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you deal with it” and staying positive and realizing that others suffer far more than me makes things a lot easier to deal with and keep in perspective.

Looking forward to the good weather and getting out bicycling and camping.

Thanks for the chance and what a great Karma!

Damn brother ... I am nearly 10 years old than you, out of shape, no vax and still have not got the 'vid. Then again, I keep my distance, wash my hands a lot, do not pick my nose before disinfecting first and stopped licking door knobs.

Let grab lunch someday ... would love to see you as long as we do not swap spit. :P

Cheers, old timer. I am glad you are here.

I'm just a Johnny-come-lately compared to you.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the well wishes and congratulations!

Lots of responses, and of all the eligible respondents who met the two entry requirements, my lovely wife's number selection resulted in BB61 being the winner. Congratulations!

I'll reach out via email and you can let me know what you'd like.

No, I'm not the most prolific poster. No, I'm not the most popular member. No, I'm not the first or the last to reach this milestone. But what I am is appreciative. Thank you to Para for making this place what it is. Your hard work is truly appreciated. And thank you to my fellow members, for without you it'd be mighty lonely here.

I've tried to think of a karma that could be used by most anyone, but what with our varied tastes in books, movies, guns, knives, etc. I'm not sure I have anything that would fit the bill. So, what I'd like to karma in celebration of my 20 year anniversary is this: $200 for anything you'd like. You pick the site, the items, etc. up to $200 (sadly that will need to include tax & shipping). As long as it's legal and they'll ship it to you, I'll foot the bill.

To enter, you must have been a member of the forum for at least 1 year (no offense to the new guys & gals, but a 20 year karma seems to require just a little longevity). And in today's world where all we hear is negative, divisive things, tell me one thing positive that's going on in your life. That's it. 1+ years and something positive.

Sometime next week, after I officially pass the 20 year mark, my lovely wife will choose a respondent at random. I'll post the winner here with how to reach me so we can get your karma to you.

Thanks Para, guys & gals, for everything. It's been a blast. Here's to another 20!

Wahoo!!!! Thank you!!!! Should I send you an email???? Thanks again!!!
