I tried this soaking method with that and I might as well soaked the barrel in piss.
I like Boretech, still requires scrubbing.
I still use the Hoppes soak method and it still works pretty well even with the watered down "new" version. With extremely heavy fouling, I've started to give them a few hour presoak in Kroil. This seems to loosen the difficult fouling. Thought of mixing some Kroil with Hoppes, but you never know how chemicals will react when mixed

mrapteam666For the last 15+ years I used some type of CLP (Break free), Remington Rem Oil, Hoppes or gunzilla.
When I got to AFG in the spring of 2014, I found a bottle of CLP that looked like it had been there since the Russians invaded in Dec of 1979.
It was called Clenzoil and I was hooked. I used that stuff on all of our 240's, M9 and M4s.
I also want to try eezox in the future.
I am visiting family down in Fruit-land Park, Fl and stopped over at the Rural King this morning. As I was wondering aimlessly through the store I noticed they had a display for Lucas gun oil. I have always wanted to try it but I never could find a small bottle. I figured for $3.47 how could I go wrong.
