That is why "ballot harvesting" is such a dangerous practice. When you see evidence of people turning in hundreds of ballots, you know these are being manufactured, counterfeit. And then working off of county data of names and addresses. Just allowing a single person to turn in as many ballots as they can carry opened the door for stuffing the ballot box.

stoic-oneAL is the only state that completely bans ballot harvesting. By that I mean no one but the actual voter can return or turn in their ballot, no exceptions for even a family member to submit it.
https://ballotpedia.org/Ballot...ction)_laws_by_stateEven the recently enacted MS law, like other states that have banned "ballot harvesting", allows others (election official, postal officer, family member, household member, caregiver or commercial carrier) to submit a ballot.
I personally think the AL law is too strict, since it allows for no one other than the voter, to submit a ballot. The problem almost always arises for people home bound with no family. You can request an absentee ballot via mail, but it has to be notarized to be returned via mail or by hand delivery. That's a problem if you're stuck at home as you'll have to get a notary or 2 witnesses to witness your signature prior to returning it, even if you're mailing it in. The affidavit envelope the ballot is mailed/returned in never make it clear that you can also use 2 witnesses instead of a notary.
R's need to step up their game of "managing" ballots, instead of just trying to get votes, or they're in for a long slide to decline.

sig2392With our system, only a relatively few thousands of votes are truly in play.
This country is so polarized at this point, if you put a dog and a cat up for election most people would pull the lever for the party of their choice.
Not much difference in either party on most fiscal issues.
Spending is out of control with neither party willing to sacrifice their lobby money for the good of the country.
There are differences in the view of freedom versus control but with the technology in the government's hands, it is mostly moot.
The current administration is looking to create a digital currency, they will soon be able to track any legal payments one way or another, especially once quantum computing advances.
Either way, the war on cash will continue.
Lots of people know how to cheat on elections, this is nothing new.
Proving they did it is another matter.
I have been hearing about rigged elections most of my life.
Only the methods have changed.
In the old days, it would take a lot more people to rig an election.
Now a few people in a room with a computer and network access can do what took an army of people.
I am sure there will be two groups in different rooms doing battle to screw with the election.
May our side win.
