I'm wondering if we can bring back the concept of the traveling circuit court judge...maybe "share" his services and wisdom with other jurisdictions needing his brand of jurisprudence. Wink

Solid, I hope this Judge gets nominated for a higher spot by Trump.

That a majority today may wish it were otherwise, does not change the Constitutional right. It never has. California has tried its unprecedented experiment. The casualties suffered by law abiding citizens have been counted.

In pretend no real knowledge of such things, but it seems his decisions are well researched, thought out and writtened. I could see the State of California getting clobbered if this makes it to SCOTUS
He is not only benefiting California, but also every person in the country.

The video was a little better, but the article was atrocious. The ruling was on a preliminary injunction. This means CA can’t enforce the retarded “ammo ban” laws while the case is being litigated. This is not a decision in the case (though from a quick scan of the first few pages, I wouldn’t want to bet on the state prevailing in the case.)

As I said to Mrs. slosig, the good news is that we can buy ammo online again. The bad news is that with the beer flu panic, the prices may be so stupid we don’t want to. We mostly shoot 124 grain Speer Lawman TMJ ammunition. The last order I placed (pre all this nonsense taking effect) was from SGammo for three cases at $0.18 per round. Today they didn’t have any of that, but they had the 115 grain flavor (which was typically priced the same in the past), limit one case, $0.27 per round.

I don’t say this to bag on SGA, I’ve had nothing but fantastic luck with them over the years, they’ve been a pleasure to deal with, always fair, generally right in there, if not the best price. It is just a sucky time to be buying ammunition.

I’m good on all the calibers we currently shoot, but if prices settle back down I had some calibers I’ve been thinking of getting a gun in. Maybe it is a good thing the prices are ridiculous. Wink
