Are you kidding me? You have some surface rust. Anyone who lives in the rust belt would kill for a frame that clean. I cant believe that you are upset about that.

Help! Help! I'm being repressed! |
Not to mention Toyota was kicking around the idea of making accessories like heated seats a subscription. I had a 2010 Tundra and loved it, but when I went to buy a new truck in 2019 the Toyota dealer wouldn't work with me on ordering the truck I wanted. He wanted me to compromise; so I did and went and bought a Ram.

Wait, what? |
Uh, no. Look closer. The steel is delaminating like a deck of cards with air blown between them. There is a perforation through the bottom rail. There is bulging rust behind the plate that attaches the leading edge spring shackle. The rest of the frame doesn’t even have surface rust. If I do nothing, the frame will break in half one day. The steel is rotten. My dad never even drove it in the winter so road salt isn’t to blame. It doesn’t really do any good when the rest of the frame is near perfect when it’s literally fanning apart like baklava. Surface rust he says. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown
