Yeah Jackson. More gunfights than Brazil! A few years ago a Doc was kidnapped and carjacked leaving the medical center. The Doc had a gun in his glove box and shot him dead.

Same exact scenario happened several years ago. Guy in convenient store with gun in back pocket. Another guy ripped it out. Gun guy, now without gun, decided to go after thug and was shot dead. I know the the video is posted 7 hours ago, but this could very well be that case.

Sloppy and dangerous peacocking. Mississippi is a constitutional carry state requiring no permit. If he lives there, he obviously knows it is a dangerous place. Why anyone would open carry in such a place when CCW is an option is beyond me.

O.C. Is legal in Michigan. Just because it’s legal doesn’t make it a good idea. I’m constantly telling people to get their CPL from a safety standpoint.
I compare O.C. to the Kodak Instamatic camera ads of the 70’s, the ones of the family around a Christmas tree and one prominent package with the tag on it saying “OPEN ME FIRST” except changing the first word to shoot. Too many people forget that neutralizing the threat works both sides of the equation for both the robber and the robbee. And O.C. Only forces you to take action even in the most unfavorable situations like lack of cover, collateral victims, etc.

Good advice: Keep it concealed!
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I once was at a store where I got in line behind a guy wearing a backpack w/ his Springfield Armory XD sticking out of the mesh side pocket of his backpack. I could have lifted the gun w/o him even noticing. So irresponsible.

I believe I am as pro-second amendment as anyone, but I look at videos like this and I am left thinking that some people are too stupid and/or too ignorant to handle the responsibility.
Constitutionally own, as in owning a gun to protect your home, yes. Constitutional carry, without training in proper handling, carry and safety? Looking at this kid, and Mr. Armpit carry, I see a whole lot of lives put in danger due to their stupidity.

You are right of course, but I am reminded of Thomas Jefferson’s, "Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem."
The government that is strong enough to give you everything you want (to protect you from idiots) is strong enough to take away everything you have. I don’t know what the solution to those two individuals’ questionable decisions is, but I doubt that it is more government.

You and I are in agreement on this fundamental truth. I certainly cannot argue against it.

I'm thinking armpit carry guy was a Scout/in on it. He held the door for the trio, took a quick look and then split. Either in on it, or saw what was going to go down and came in to get his buddy blue hat guy and get out of there. Whatever was going on, not a good place to be!
I hope backpocket guy learned some lessons, he's one of the biggest idiots I have ever seen on video.
I have a few SIGs.
