Yeah and he had to evacuate his home due to the wild fires. I always thought he was a bit of a dolt. I kind of favored Rob Petrie's wife.

Saw on the crawler today that he's gotten run out of his home by a wildfire.

He always seemed like a genuinely good guy.

ETA: Beat me to it.

Frown. Who is this Petrie person and what about his wife attracts you. I have no idea what you are talking about?

One of the best lines ever;

"Rob, all I see is my baby with a blue foot."

We will see who remembers the show with that line. Happy Birthday DVD and Rest in Peace MTM.

thanks for posting. Not a huge fan of Coldplay, probably would not have seen this.

He's in great shape mentally and physically for 99.
I hope his home is spared from wildfire.

That was nice.

I loved watching the DVD show, and can remember my parents taking the family to the drive-in theater in ‘64 or ‘65 (?) to see Mary Poppins. The dressed me and my sister in our pajamas in case we fell asleep, as we watched the movies from the back of our Rambler station wagon.

Good times! Great memories!!

He was part of my youth. In spite of his clowning, he had a dignity that eventually became rare in Hollywood. Clearly he’s close to the end of his life, but he’s sharp and active. Surrounded by family it occurs to me I’ll miss him when he crosses. Not because I knew him nor that he influenced my life in the recent 40 years, but because I know the world will be less without him.

Thank you for posting that.
