Old girlfriend had a similar type bird. That thing gave me a nasty cut on my finger.
If I am trying to talk to anyone, my Conure will “mumble” to try to join the conversation. It can be cute yet annoying. As long as I am talking, she will mumble too. As soon as I stop, she does too.
