Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

this whole thing is devolving into total insanity

MSNBC analyst John Heilemann asked two Democratic lawmakers in separate interviews on Tuesday whether Nunes was “compromised by the Russians” or a “Russian agent.”

“I want to ask you a question that under almost any other circumstances would be ridiculous and absurd, but under these circumstances I think is actually warranted,” Heilemann asked Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT).

“Is it possible that the Republican chairman of the House intel committee has been compromised by the Russians? Is it possible that we actually have a Russian agent running the House intel committee on the Republican side?”

Murphy responded there was “no information to suggest that it is” the case. Heilemann continued with an unfounded smear, based on unnamed “people in the intelligence community.”

“[Nunes is] behaving like someone who’s been compromised, and there are people in the intelligence community, and others with great expertise in this area, who look at him and say, ‘That guy’s been compromised,'” he said.

Heilemann later asked Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, the same question. Swalwell did not take the bait either, simply saying it seemed like Nunes was just trying to help the president’s case.

former DNI Clapper on CNN:

SCIUTTO: You heard the president's speech today. He calls out Russia and China, describes them as rival powers, rival powers to the U.S., but also says he wants to build a great partnership with them and had all of these friendly stuff to say about his phone calls with Vladimir Putin this week.

Is that a contradictory message?

CLAPPER: Well, it is to me. I think this past weekend is illustrative of what a great case officer Vladimir Putin is. He knows how to handle an asset, and that's what he's doing with the president.

SCIUTTO: You're saying that Russia is handling President Trump as an asset?

CLAPPER: That seems to be -- that's the appearance to me. So, you know, we've shared intelligence with the Russians for a long time. We've always done that. Although in my experience with them has been pretty much of a one-way street, where we provide them intelligence and we don't get much back.

A drowning man often struggles hardest right before his head goes under. I believe that's what we're seeing with the Dem's. They've thrown everything including a kitchen sink factory at President Trump and have completely failed at stopping or even slowing him and his agenda. He and the country continue to grow stronger everyday. And if they are tied to a corrupt and criminal FBI/DOJ operation under Barry the Wonder Putz, they're done...and they know it. Come on, ya gotta love the squirming and death throws.

I gave up network and cable news a long time ago (around 2005). I do still listen to my local newstalk station on the way to work and during the work day. It's a conservative station, carrying conservative talk shows, however they pull their national news feed every hour from ABC radio news.

They are in full court press mode, discrediting the memo, Nunes, the process, everything. Every update it's about how a 'partisan republican memo that the FBI says they have grave concerns about the accuracy of, is going to be released in an attempt to discredit political opponents'. Every single update it's a version of that - including playing clips of David Gergen saying that it's an unprecedented political dirty trick.

So, the whole media spin is that this memo was compiled strictly by republicans and the FBI has already stated that nothing in it is true.

It is so transparent what they are doing, it's sickening.

Transparent for people with two brain cells to rub together, unfortunately most of their followers (I've decided the left has devolved into a cult) they don't even have that.

To the point of being ludicrous. Like Nunes being compromised by the Russians.

Is this a bunch of political zealots who followed their hearts and had some lucky coincidences? Or is it a masterfully orchestrated treasonous conspiracy that fell apart. Is Treason the correct word for what they tried to do?

The tarmac meeting between Clinton and lynch was only known because of a lucky break. Where there others not observed?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown
