I still remember those photos of the asshole bear hugging obummer! Didn't do him any good, thankfully, he had fucked up his own state enough.

I have been watching facebook, instagram feeds over the last month or so. The amount of cry baby whining is unreal. Toxic masculinity shaving debacle being the most recent. How the left is going on just blows me away. Today's find of sheer idiocy.

On the conservative side of things. Gun owners are pissed about the NRA not doing more to fight the bumpstock ban, to fight red flag laws, and they are pissed at trump for even humoring those issues.

some comments on the William Barr hearing

from this WashPost article:

https://www.washingtonpost.com...m_term=.b06d3471dc09

three major red flags:

1. Barr said he would not abide by ethics officials' advice regarding whether he should recuse himself from oversight of Mueller’s investigation, because of his past criticism of the inquiry. This, even though other top Justice Department officials including Jeff Sessions have made such promises in years past.

2. He strongly suggested that the Mueller report couldn’t be made public under current Justice Department guidelines, and that his own report on it to lawmakers would deal only with things that will be prosecuted. Given that existing DOJ guidelines say a sitting president can’t be indicted, logically that could mean we won’t learn about what Mueller found on President Trump or those close to him, unless it happens to be a part of a prosecution.

3. Barr’s explanation of his 2017 comments about investigating the Clintons resulted in the New York Times releasing an email he had sent. In that email, Barr clearly suggested that the GOP-led Uranium One and Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act surveillance conspiracy theories were more worthy of investigation than potential Trump campaign collusion with Russia. Barr assured panel members Tuesday that he wasn’t all that keen on investigating the Clintons, but, by extension, that means he didn’t have much regard at all for Mueller’s collusion inquiry.

XXXXXXXXXXXXX

The items above were identified by Wash Post as being "red flags".

Actually they are all very promising in the interests of justice.

#1 Barr said he would listen to DoJ ethics officials and then make his own decision. He refused to say he would do whatever the DoJ ethics people recommended.

Barr is avoiding the stupid trap that Sessions fell into. The Attorney General makes the call. DEMs don't like that DoJ Trump haters cannot force Barr to recuse.

#2 This is a big one. DEMs want Mueller to load up a devastating report about Donald Trump and hand it to the public. Doesn't matter if the report is true, or if any of the accusations are ever prosecuted.

Realistically though anything damaging Donald Trump will get leaked by those out to nullify the 2016 election.

#3 "Barr clearly suggested that the GOP-led Uranium One and Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act surveillance conspiracy theories were more worthy of investigation than potential Trump campaign collusion with Russia"

Absolutely true. Infinitely more worthy. I hope that Barr deeply believes that and acts accordingly.

If only. Humans od new york is known for his distaste for president Trump. The man in the photo is mostlikely real, as is the quote. The responses to the quote from other facespace users is just shy of hysteria.

There is a level of hate and discontent there i have rarely seen. I thought hatred of bush was bad, it is nothing compared to the crap i see, read, watch now.

“Although the government remains partially shutdown, President Trump has unveiled his first set of judicial nominees for the year. In a press release on Wednesday, the White House announced six district court nominees that, if confirmed, would fill federal vacancies in Louisiana, Texas, North Dakota, and Arizona.

This first wave of nominees consists of three district court judges in the state of Texas, specifically Mark Pittman, who serves on the court of appeals in Texas Second District. By recommendation of Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Senator John Cornyn, President Trump also nominated Wes Hendrix and Sean Jordan.

The remaining nominees include Greg Guidry of Louisiana, Michael Liburdi of Arizona, and Peter Welte of North Dakota — all of whom have conservative leanings on the bench…”

am loving and at the same time puzzled by the insane coverage of the Cohen Hired IT Firm to Rig Early CNBC, Drudge Polls to Favor Trump

Is it illegal to vote on a poll that is published on the web?

As for the polls themselves, I would think any pollster would want to ensure their statistics are valid. who really cares? he was behind in the polls anyway?

President Trump grounds Pelosi

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...osis-travel-n2539217

President Trump sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Thursday afternoon informing her an upcoming taxpayer funded, military escorted trip overseas has been postponed. The trip was part of a larger congressional delegation.

"Dear Madame Speaker. Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed.

We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event it totally appropriate.

I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative," President Trump wrote.

"I look forward to seeing you soon and even more forward to watching our open and dangerous Southern Border finally receive the attention, funding and security it so desperately deserves!" he concluded.

According to Fox News, Pelosi was scheduled to leave at 3 p.m. eastern on Thursday afternoon.
