Barron Trump: His Dad's true heir apparent? Very long and flattering article from The Telegraph Login/Join

I'm posting this as a separate thread because I want it to be just about Barron Trump and the gist of the article, which is that Barron is a "natural" politician, and that he is "friends" with lots of GenZ internet influencers like Adin Ross.

Link

quote:
In April, podcaster and entrepreneur Patrick Bet David revealed he was among a small group of influencers who had been invited to dinner at Mar-a-Lago at Barron’s request. “I get an email saying Barron Trump wants to have dinner with you because he follows the content,” Bet David told listeners of the PBD Podcast, describing a dinner party where the former president acted as “DJ” while Barron – “witty, smart, hilarious” – hosted the table. “We just watched Barron run dinner with stories, entertainment, everything.”

The 18-year-old was “smart on politics” and sanguine about his own press. Bet David quoted Barron as saying he’d heard it was now “officially fair game to come after me” in the press. “I don’t care, good, do it. I get it, they’ve gone and done it to every kid. What’s the difference?”

It has been presumed by commentators that Barron is being groomed to take over his father’s political ambitions Shutterstock
At the end of the night, Barron reportedly extended an open invitation for them to come back whenever they liked. “He was like, ‘whenever you guys want to come to dinner, you hit me up’,” comedian Vincent Oshana recalled.

If the purpose of the dinner was for the attendees to talk positively (and publicly) about their evening with the Trumps, then it was a resounding success. Barron’s best friend appears to have been something of a broker – another Mar-a-Lago invitee, masculinity influencer Justin Waller (who has links to Andrew Tate), recounted how he received a message on Instagram from Bo Loudon, the 17-year-old son of Republican commentator Gina Loudon and a burgeoning Right-wing influencer in his own right (The Daily Beast calls him “MAGA’s Gen Z ambassador”). “I got a message from a young man that was with Trump in a photo and he’s like: ‘Hey, Barron likes your content and he’d like to invite you to Mar-a-Lago’,” Waller said.

His verdict on the young Trump? “99.9 per cent of grown men do not understand the world the way Barron Trump understands the world. There’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll run the country one day.”

The following month, Trump suggested his youngest son was beginning to have a political voice. “He does like politics, it’s sort of funny,” he told a Talk Radio station. “He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do’.”

Where did the reference of “heir apparent” come from? I don’t see any language in the title or the posted article content that says that specifically. I do, however, see where he is referred to as bridging the gap between gen z and politics which is somewhat lacking on the right. It makes him sound more like an ambassador to the next generation than the heir or any royalty nonsense. Unlike the dysfunctional Biden clan, all the Trump kids are not only very intelligent and business savvy, they are articulate and involved in politics. Barron is no different. He seems to have come of age and is young enough to be in touch with the next generation of voters which can only be a good thing.

Several Kennedys. Some Roosevelts. A couple Harrisons. A handful of Tafts. A few Adamses. Etc.

Don't be so shocked. Multiple generations of families being involved in high level politics is nothing new in America, going back to practically the beginning.

It's not uncommon for children to follow in their parent's footsteps for their career path, regardless of the industry. And that goes double for politics, where family/personal connections are (almost) everything.

I really like Eric.
Best wishes to Barron.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Cool your jets, lefty.

heir apparent: an heir whose right to an inheritance is indefeasible except by exclusion under a valid will if he or she survives the ancestor

You need to understand something- I am not going to tolerate a bunch of leftist pissing from you. You keep your salty tears to yourself, or I guarantee you that you will not last in this forum.

You want to discuss political matters, be my guest, but if you want to piss and moan and act like a little bitch, nitpicking over language, then you have a genuine problem here. Your problem is obvious, and it is your problem alone. This is a conservative forum and you know it, and we shall not bend to accommodate your dislike of our politics.

You had better heed my warning, or you're going to find out quickly that I'm serious.

I guess you're leaving us to give Zelenskyy a nice wet kiss when you go over to Ukraine to kill some ruskies. Don't forget to give him some tongue.

Well, that escalated pretty quickly.

I think one of the older brothers is closer to picking up the mantle if they don't like being rich instead.

But if nobody else from his family ever enters into politics, this country and it's people owe a debt of gratitude to Trump for charting a new course for "We the People" we didn't know was possible. Tariffs as a viable strategy, insisting NATO members pay their fair share, putting America first instead of sacrificing America, etc.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

"Commie faggot"? Yeah, that's me for sure. Big Grin

Buddy, you're a Trump hater. You're not "miles to the right" of anyone around here. People can convince themselves of anything.

Glad to be rid of you and your bullshit.
