Strange tangent to flame out over. 'Heir apparent' has been in common usage forever. Almost like the guy has never heard the expression.

Wow, he must be a pleasure to be around.

As for Barron, I'll check back once his age has doubled.

He's familiar with the term, but as I pointed out, he's a Trump hater. It's the use of the term in relation to Trump which twisted his panties.

That's why I smacked him.

Flame out was big for sure. At the same time, for any of us "commoners ((not millionaires Mogul Presidents and their sons (that's a compliment by the way))" to think that Baron doesn't have a team of PR folks helping him is naive.

He may very well be a great kid and I hope he is. But to sing his praises vs. and number of our own children who are most certainly doing it organically shows me just how stupid this author thinks we are.

Like most things, its not that his (the author) intentions are dishonest, just a bit disingenuous.

Outside of that, I hope Baron and his father go on to have a metric shit ton of success.

10 years to retirement! Just waiting!

Don't forget the ladies.

I know Lara Trump is a Trump by marriage, but she is a force in Republican politics.

And, Ivanka Trump, was a close advisor to President Trump in his first term. I think she could have a future in politics as well.

Lara Trump is cochair of the GOP. So she would be supporting either one of the brothers. I think I remember she moved to a state to run for state office or a senator.

You can write off Ivanka from entering politics. She bowed out of actively campaigning for her father. Politics is brutal even just for the average politician and I don’t blame her. She’s got a family to raise.

Ivanka does have a family to raise, and good for her.
Besides, I don't think Ivanka's political views necessarily align with the rest of the Trump clan.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Somebody, I think WSJ, recently had an article about the supposed power and influence of Don Jr. Specifically, he really pushed his Dad to pick JD Vance for VP. It was pointed out that JD is potentially a rival to Don Jr. as future presidential candidate.
BTW has anybody noted that the older Trump brothers are long-range shooters? Competitive, I understand.

Right after the PA shooting. They were on Hannity and talked about how the distance was like a chip shot.

JD and Don Jr. on the same ticket. That's the dream ticket IMHO.
