I’m in agreement with SourDough44 - Tadalafil - it is the generic form of Cialis.

It came along after Viagra. Can be effective in as soon as 30 minutes and remain effective for 2-3 days after taking.

Available in “as needed” dosage (10-20mg) or as a daily dose (5mg).

5 mg daily dose seems to be most cost effective, $28 for 100 pills at Costco Pharmacy using “GoodRx” app. Prices can vary widely, GoodRx is the easiest way to comparison shop pharmacies if paying out of pocket.

If Doc thinks as needed dose, have him write script for daily and take 2-4 or whatever dose works.


It is now even covered by many insurance Rx plans.

Good to know, since my stroke I have to worry about the increased BP.

It's the reason why if you have taken Viagra or similar within the last 24-48 hours you should not take nitro for chest pain. Because you can bottom out your blood pressure.

Be careful with it if you have a headache, it will make it much worse.

Between the aforementioned and Cialis, life is as good for me as it has been since my mid-30s. I take all of the aforementioned at 8PM.
