Yup, saw it earlier. She was a social justice activist and anarchist who doesn't believe in incarceration. Whatever. Roll Eyes

But, she wanted her money back and died trying to get it. If the thug had been locked up and hadn't had the chance to rob her, or rob anyone else...

I guess this makes too much sense when you're a whacko.

Since she was such a big activist, I can only guess that she was chasing the thieves to try and give them more of her stuff. Roll Eyes

Yes, let the savages out so they can victimize, injure and kill more people.

She was a Bay Area social justice warrior, not your garden variety one. She was a BLM supporter, anti-police, bla bla bla.

Here is a part of the family statement in regards to her death.

"As a long-time social movement activist and anarchist, Jen did not believe in state violence, carceral punishment, or incarceration as an effective or just solution to social violence and inequity."

"If the Oakland Police Department does make an arrest in this case, the family is committed to pursuing all available alternatives to traditional prosecution, such as restorative justice."

The bolded is basically having the criminal and victim(s) meet and have the former apologize to the latter. Roll Eyes So that the scumbags can go out and do their shit to other citizens.

These cretins do not understand that their ideology is responsible for her demise. The coddling, the no bail releases, kissing the ass of these criminals are all why places like Oakland, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc, are dangerous places. Reap what you sow.

Well, as an "anarchist" she certainly got what she asked for.

Twelve feet of rope and a stout limb would go a long way towards "restorative justice".

Unlike the lady in the OP, I’m into a different kind of justice.

If I’m ever killed in a robbery, I don’t want the killer locked up either. I want ‘em feet first in the woodchipper.

What does that even mean? Pulling the plug does NOT require an advanced degree...Was no one qualified/trained to properly perform this procedure?

In this idiot's worldview, the violent crime of strong-arm robbery is justified by "social inequity". The contradiction in her action was attempting to retrieve property violently robbed from her, and also loudly proclaiming the robbery was unworthy of prosecution.

And I'll bet that all of her friends and customers do not see the irony.

I've long said that quite a few people need to be taken for a long walk in the woods.
Victims and criminals alike.
Both of them in this case would have saved a ton of problems.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

I don't give a flying flip is she doesn't want the killer locked up.

Excellent chance the killer would go right back out and do it again to someone else.

Then, you ding-dong head, you've harmed someone else when you might have saved a life.

You can describe this woman with all the woke terminology that is currently in vogue, but it all adds up to good old-fashioned stupidity. Which she shared with a big chunk of our current society.

Based on her actions as she was being robbed, she may have reconsidered.
Her attacker apparently didn’t get the memo.

She sounds like the woman who befriended the person who killed her mom and when the guy got out he killed her as well. These ultra liberals truly believe that if you are nice to someone they will be nice to you. They are called predators for a reason.
