Living on the far NW side of Chicago I have been prepared for charging grizzly Bears for years and my gun safe reflex this.

For hand guns, I have a Dan Wesson 44 mag, Dan Wesson 445 SuperMag, and a S&W 460.The S&W 460 will also shoot the 454 Casull but the S&W 460 is more potent and the recoil not as harsh as the 454 Casull.

For a rifle I would grab the Weatherby DGR(Dangerous Game Rifle)chambered in 375 Weatherby Magnum. Over 5100# of muzzle energy.

What gun would I actually grab, It would be my Weatherby 12 gauge pump loaded with 3"slugs.
