The Washington Nationals have been in hot water this week after the founder of O'Keefe Media group, James O’Keefe, published a secretly recorded video of the director of community relations, Sean Hudson, saying that the team does not include pitcher Trevor Williams in certain social media promotion because of religiously-based comments he has made in the past.
I was a Nationals fan for a long time, and got to watch them win the World Series. But seeing there treatment of the President of the United States and being upstaged in their own stadium by the opponents owners (who welcomed POTUS) started the separation. But the more I looked into it there were some deep problems.
I was not surprised at all by this new bias, The owners ( The Lerner family) seem to almost hate the fans, the players who win, all of it.

So is he a scape goat or does it go deeper is the big question, and how deep does it go, I doubt seriously this one man was making that kind of decision on who attended what event.
Maybe he was, but let's hope now that they fired him, if there are others he opens the barn doors....

Any Nats fan/observer who has been paying even minimal attention knows that the team's management has been far left woke for a long time. I suspect this goes right up to the owner (I stopped paying attention a while back, I am not even sure who that is)*. That Leftist dogma extends to actual on-the-field decisions surprises me not at all.
They used to be my team, as were the Redskins. Having a home team to root for is a wonderful thing. Too bad they had to ruin it!
(*) OK, hoping to alleviate my willful ignorance, I learned that the Nats are owned by Mark Lerner, son of Ted Lerner, a very prominent Democrat-supporting family in the DC area (and elsewhere). Why devout Orthodox Jews continue to support the party that casts hate incessantly in their direction continues to baffle me. Perhaps to demonstrate their bona fides to their Commie friends, they go overboard in doing so.
