I often see those who missed out on the originals and regret it. This is your final chance to get in on the phenomena. While these won't be precious metal, they will be unique to the forum. They will be sought after once they are gone. These would be a great EDC alternative to the originals. They're cheap and we need more backers!! As some have seen, there is a "Kickstarter type" site that will make traditional (non precious metal) challenge coins for us if we reach 500 desired. This ends 31 May 2017. If at least 500 coins are requested, they will be made. If the goal isn't met, refunds will be made. More details are in this thread in the classifieds section. Please read through it all. If I may add. Please, if you are seriously wanting any, make the pledge and don't wait until you see if any one else is going to "take the plunge" first. While normally, the "wait and see" is a smart thing, in this case, it may have the opposite effect. It either hits the mark and they are made, or it doesn't and the funds are returned. Hey y'all, I get it. It was a rough start and a brief panic. Thing is, what we are doing is out of the norm which usually means a few hiccups. Those are gone now. You've kicked the tires as evidenced by the thread counts. Now it't time to take that next step and throw some $$ in the pot. Heck, if 500 aren't funded, you'll get your $$ back. To be honest, I just don't have the desire to continue nagging. I'm also not going to beg. Ya asked for it. It was made possible. If it don't happen that's on you. You have been lead to water. Bump as a friendly reminder that we are still 381 commitments away from making the last coin in the series a reality. We only have until May 31st to hit the 500 mark or this coin will not be produced. Sigmonkey and fflps have put in a lot of hard work to make the originals and these happen and I'd hate to see us fall short. | |||
