Not committing to get into aviation about 10 years sooner than I did. The plus side is that I eventually DID do something about it. But you know...in my belief, EVERYTHING is according to God's timing... "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Worst decision I ever made was not sticking to my guns away from what I wanted to do: sell my house before the housing crash of 2008, move to an apartment, wait 2 years, and invest the cash in 1/3 Stocks, 1/3 gold, and 1/3 CDs. Instead we bought a bigger house. Second worst was not buying a condo a condo in a prior housing crash in a nice area for $60,000 which I reasoned was just the price of a Lexus then. My BIL bought one. It sold for $400,000 a few years later. Third worst was not keeping my first house after buying my second house. I could have rented it out instead. On YouTube, there’s a guy who’s just turned 30. Out of high school he became a realtor shortly after the 2008 crash. He didn’t know any better. He focused on finding homes for people to rent as nobody was buying. He saved his money. Lived below his means. Bought his first home from a bank sale for $59,000. The rent paid for his mortgage and the interest rate was so low, it was effectively an interest free loan for 30 years. Now, he’s got a portfolio of $6 million with the rents paying for the mortgages and his living expenses. He also makes a lot of money from his YouTube videos. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
