I like Miami Beach. There are lots of nice people, and the weather is great - but there is also a level of... degeneracy? Hood rat junk? Euro trash? And, I don’t know... it’s making me more “Dutchie”. (I’m PA Dutch) The Rolex and the UX stay locked up, and I’m happy just wearing my g shock, etc. It’s odd. The more “look at me” sexual and money stuff I see, the more repugnant I find it. BS-3595-C401. In Theory, this will be the "seal" verifying that I am an attorney, and when I was licensed/the authority was last contacted, and confirmed it to be active. | ||

I was noticing that today in my area. I went grocery shopping and saw a man wearing glitter eye shadow, purple hair, an exposed shoulder, midriff cut blouse and felt slippers. He probably weighed 300 pounds. On the next aisle was a woman wearing full footie pajamas, tiger striped, with the drop flap seat. Not related, but crime is up significantly, especially shootings. Life is getting weird. | |||

What part of Pennsylvania, Aglifter? My dad's family is from Lancaster County, for the most part. Even now, not many of his relatives live more than 75 miles from Lancaster, even the generations that came after him. He grew up there, but went to Penn State, and never lived in Pennsylvania again. Miami isn't much like the Dutch country, is it? The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything. | |||

I'm from that neck of the woods originally - Reading PA, one county over from Lancaster. Daughter and brothers still live there, although I "emigrated" many decades ago, first for quality of life to Colorado, and currently for employment in SC. Had a bunch of friends growing up with decidedly "Dutch" names - Hirneisen, Stubblebine, and so on. I spend a lot of time in South Florida. I find that area creepy as hell. I usually stay at hotels near the beach and the over the top sexuality from both sexes I find very off putting. On the other hand, my hotel has a mermaid show that is pretty interesting to watch. I got my dog in Amish land, Miami it’s not. | |||
