Heard some reports that an overhead crane dropped a fuselage of a 737 being built in the spirit/Boeing plant in Wichita this afternoon, apparently damaging two or three other jets and possibly killing a person.


This plant is just where they build the fuselage and then send those to Boeing Renton to be built.

Dropping a 737 fuselage sounds weird.

Noy seeing anything on that on the local news. Stay tuned.

Further info from the inside. No one was hurt. but plane will be turned into pop cans.

That's great to hear that nobody was hurt. I can't imagine what this accident cost.
