I watched a tree crush 2 of my neighbor's cars at 7 am while taking the dogs out.
Crazy wind and rain all night in central Mass- I lost power at 8am and it just came back on. Good reason to run the generator for a few hours. Wind slowing but still heavy rain. We would have been buried if this was snow.
Looks like the ski areas up north are melting and I`m sure we`ll see major flooding in Vt/NH/Maine today.

I made that same mistake around 11AM, turned into a beautiful day, ever so briefly. I made the mistake of leaving work without my rain jacket. It's coming down strong again the last few hours.

Crazy temps, not that I'm complaining. But it's so warm I had to drive around in the pouring rain with the window down and the wing window open because it was too dang hot otherwise.

(completely turning off the heat in my Jeep is not something that can be accomplished while driving. lol)

South Central CT. Route 15 was shut down for a while and I guess I 91 had one lane open. Other than that I saw some large branches in the road and whatever leaves were left on trees are down now.

My neighbor had a limb of a tree go down in his front yard but no damage, the tree was getting unruly anyway so he's probably happy about it.

Too bad it was so wet, the temperature would have been perfect for a range day.

I live well outside Charleston, which had a lot of road flooding due to the storm. My weather station logged over 7 inches of rain. Lots of yard debris, but little else, thankfully!

This afternoon the tide was higher than it was with hurricane Sandy. Another foot and it will overflow. Salt water ruins everything.
The heavy rain and wind were overnight. I slept through it.

We got nearly 5 inches of rain in a 24 hour period which was on top of the 4 inches already saturating the ground from the storm a week prior.

This weather had been very strange for time of year, I don't ever recall seeing storms dumping rain like this in December, this is more like mid summer stuff.
