I read this story. #1 Ford is a drama queen. #2 It actually took four eggheads from Washington Post to create this story.

Grassley senses that the dims and women have the Republicans by the short hairs and won't let go.

Time to accept the pain and vote this guy out of committee. Let the idiots blather on the Senate floor about how he is a "rapist" and oh yes, CENSURE DIFI!!!

The confirmation circus shows you that we are facing and enemy that will stop at nothing to win. An enemy that wants political opponents crushed and driven submissively before them. They want the power and money, and they will do anything to get it.

Anyone that thinks that we can be classy, appear interested in the made up claims of Ford, and win over our opponents is smoking rock.

This is a delay tactic. They care about nothing but winning. We should really try that.

Hold the vote. Quit bowing down to Ford. She has been given chance after chance. Her political handlers are stalling. Be smarter than this.

Good post.

One side is fighting to win, at any cost, and the other is concerned with decorum.

We can win, but it's going to have to get ugly before we win. The socialist progressive communists aren't going to be defeated by merely voting them into minority status. Elections only matter to leftists when they win.

The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/21...y-hearing/index.html

The Senate Judiciary Committee has given Ford's attorneys a deadline of 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday to respond with their decision, a committee source confirmed to CNN.

The panel has proposed holding a hearing next Wednesday in which it would hear testimony from both Kavanaugh and Ford, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

Ford's lawyers said Thursday night that Ford wouldn't be able to get to Washington before next Thursday because of all that her family is dealing with, according to a Senate Democratic leadership aide.

Another source told CNN that Republicans are dealing with internal disagreements about whether they should use an outside counsel. Multiple senior members of the committee are pushing for one, while others are less interested, according to the source, making it unclear whether this will make it into the final proposal to Ford.

Her lawyers previously suggested that the committee's senators question their client, not an outside counsel.

A Senate Republican aide told CNN Friday that a special counsel would prevent the politicization of Ford's questioning.

But the use of an outside counsel is receiving pushback from Senate Democrats. An aide to a member of the Senate's Democratic leadership told CNN that, "outside counsel doesn't vote on Kavanaugh. Senators do. Republicans need to do their jobs and not hide."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

and if REP senators do question Ford, there will be an immediate wailing of "old white men" attacking Ford

I'm with Kimber1911.

Some of the RINOs have been soft and I believe this is an effort to appease them. They themselves have said she should be heard, and they are giving her multiple opportunities. If they just rammed the vote through they may alienate a few votes that we need. If they bend over backwards and she refuses, what justification would those RINOs have?

This is bullshit. She wrote the letter months ago and gave it to Feinstein. She had plenty of time to prepare for questions that may come out of this.

Recognize that Chairman Grassley, and Leader McConnell have no margin here. Every move has to be made with the confidence that it will not alienate a single Senator. One wrong move means disaster. Those Senators are getting worked over, too, big time.

The God Damned Commies are playing for all the marbles. This has been expected since Nov. 8, 2016.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

Vote. NOTHING will be gained by waiting. No matter what Grassley proposes that bitch will say no. He says senators ask questions, she'll want outside council. Grassley says outside council, she'll demand it be the senators. STOP THE BULLSHIT. Rip off the bandaid and vote.

The republicans are settig a VERY bad precedent with this. And the left knows it and loves it. So when she ignores the new deadline what then? Extend it further? It thats the republicans plan just go ahead and announce you're removing Kavanaugh from consideration. Becasue that is the end game and that is exactly the direction these cowards are beeing steered to by the left.

We are at war and the left is the enemy. It's high time they started being treated like it.

Lefties fall all over themselves to to make this claim when they are convinced that their little temper tantrum will be ok because Trump won't get elected, etc.

Yet, not a single one, not a single one, follows through and moves because, fuck as it turns out, there are other countries that when you pull this type of shit, they cut your head off. Others are down right shitholes, and the rest don't have our conveniences or protections.

Who'd a thunk it? I will buy Mrs. Ford a first class ticket to wherever she wants to go, all she has to do is leave her passport at the gate, and renounce her citizenship of this country that she hates so much.

What has that to do with anything? (as if we don't know where this is going)

Take the vote , it’s all BS, if they really cared they would have brought this up during the conformation hearings, or when they did the one on ones with the judge, not wait till the last minute. If they care about women so much why don’t they go look at Keith Ellison, for physically abusing his girlfriends, they have recorded 911 calls, and physicians reports, as well as eyewitness conformation. I mean he is only the co-chair of the caring DNC.
