My nephew Ronnie is in ICU at a hospital in Miss. My sister told me he has double pneumonia and the flu and on a ventilator.

Below is what his daughter sent about 10pm.

Just checked on him about an hour ago they tried to reduce some of the sedating but his oxygen dropped down to 82 so they put him back where he is and his oxygen is between 90/92... if they can get it to 100 that means the meds are starting to work and fight it
He’s over the Flu part just fighting double pneumonia now which caused a lot of bacteria infection in his lungs.

So that's where we stand now. He's 48 years old and could use some prayers and good wishes.

Thanks,
Bill

I got the call tonight that my nephew Ronnie died in the hospital. I guess his body just couldn't fight it off.

Thank you for all the prayers and good wishes.

I was in the same boat as he is 5 yrs ago. On a vent for 13 days. It’s a tough time. Hope he doesn’t go into ARDS. Make sure they put tennis shoes on him, or special shoes to prevent foot drop. That and muscle wasting happens very quick. Good Luck to him.
