Both lounges are beyond the checkpoint. Every restaurant and bar in the airport is complying with that totalitarian edict.

Wait. I don't follow the travel guidelines closely since I don't fly these days. But I thought you had to show negative antigen/antibody tests to fly. If so, then doesn't that mean you're not infected / not contagious? If then if so, what does vaccination status matter - bottom line either way is you're not getting anyone else sick.

Well look at that picture, it looks empty there.

That place will not make it as well as 2/3 of Philly’s restaurants with this Covid passport BS.

One has never had to show a negative test to fly domestically.

But regardless, that would be irrelevant as the city of Philadelphia has this mandate, and the airport is within city limits. As a flight attendant once said regarding these ridiculous mandates, it doesn't have to make sense.

Yeah, been there, seen that.

Last Thanksgiving, I knew who would be a pain in the ass. The in-laws and a few neighbors.

The solution? "The vaccinated are discouraged from attending this event." Superspeader? Mask related? Na!

It got quite a few laughs as they knew it didn't necessarily apply to the 'what' as opposed to the 'who'.

Much to my surprise, my brother used the same tactic for his Christmas gatherings.

A few days after Xmas I was in the Amex lounge in PHL. I always wear a mask below my nose in airports and planes. But I had a plate of food at my seat and so no mask. I walked up to the bar with no mask and ordered a drink. Bartender asked me to don a mask. The guy one foot away from me, but sitting at the bar had no mask on. That was ok with her.

Western civilization had a pretty good run.

Yeah, you can’t get Covid while seated, walking in the direction of arrows or standing on social distance spots…it’s science!

Never?? The TSA website listed a Negative Test, or a Documented COVID Recovery within the previous 90 days as a travel requirement in the March/April time frame last year. Did that not happen?

A friend of mine is vaccinated and he's as fed up with this bullshit as the rest of us. We've discussed covid and the mandates and restrictions but never anything about getting the shot or not. He made a decision and that's fine, and I assume he feels the same about me, or, doesn't know my status and hasn't asked.
