The Canadians pretty much have lost their marbles over Covid and Young is a Canuck, so no real surprise. All that blow he hoovered up in the 70s seems to taken its toll.

Do most of the people who listen to Neil Young even know what Spotify is?

my entire family is in Canada and they're all pleased as punch to wear masks and quarantine themselves under lockdown - its for the chillin's ya know.

They get their news from the CBC and from CNN and no one believes anything from Fox News.

I've been ostracized because I refused to get the jab to the point where my father never spoke to me for almost 9 months

they're so deathly afraid of dying from the flu bug that they all stopped living two years ago

I know who Neil Young is. I know what Spotify is. I don't use the latter and the only time I hear the former is when I'm listening to an oldies station on the radio and something CSNY comes on.

I mean get this, Neil Young doesn't even own 50% of his songs. He sold off half of his catalog a year ago. It might as well have been me threatening Spotify..."Hey, Spotify! It's either Nickelback or Rogan; you can't have both!"

I wonder if he thought other artists would join in on his little tantrum in order to give it teeth. Instead he got laughter.

I'm still waiting to hear why so many are getting covid when they're fully vaccinated and boosted.

I realize the argument is "it could have been worse" but I argue that A) most unvaxed report the same symptoms with omicron. B) there is no way to really know if the vaccine had an impact orof it was your state if health or natural immunity.

My mom has been hospitalized since early Dec. for an infection in her knee. She's had an antibiotic infusion every day since then, is fully vaxxed and the hospital has a pretty strict mask mandate and visitor screening regime. Yup, still got Covid there. If you can get Covid there, where can't you get it?

I suspect some years down the road we will hear the existing vaccines and booster did nothing to stop omicron or lessen it's impact.

The Israelis and I think a few other countries have already come to that conclusion.

Didn't I just read Israel is ordering another round of boosters (to boost the boosters that were to boost the boosters that were to boost the initial "vaccinations")?

Yeah - I don't think the Israeli's have figured anything out yet other than more ways to exert Gov't control over their subjects there.
