I'm good friends with Matthew and just found out that he had a heart attack over the weekend. He was in ICU yesterday but was eating (not unusual for Matthew), I'll update when I hear more.

6/3 - Matthew texted me that he was able to walk a bit and "all the lines are out and they removed the balloon pump". Said it was really a good thing he recognized it and called 911. He's an OR nurse, I'm sure that training helped.

Hang in there Scrub. Did that drill in 2006 and spent the requisite 3 days in the hospital. No fun but recovery follows with your discharge. Embrace cardiac rehab that they'll offer!
