Shipping all these illegals up to these northern deep blue cities that had proudly declared themselves "Sanctuary Cities" was a master stroke by those governors down in Texas and Arizona.

This is what's going to get that border finally closed off.

I watched a segment a few weeks ago where RFK Jr came to I forget which town here and watched a few thousand cross in an hour or so. They're all crossing over, and getting plane tickets to all the big cities. Because of our current policies, it's not even mostly central and south Americans now, it's people from every backwater on the planet coming here to get in unchecked. I won't even get into the horrible details, but the cartels are fully involved in the human trafficking business and we're turning a blind eye to the humanitarian crisis we've created on our own southern border to send billions to fight a border dispute on the other side of the planet. Makes me sick.

I hope Kathy Hochul and the other Democrat governors enjoy their new neighbors.

Don’t send the illegals to multiple sanctuary cities.

Send every last one to Rehobeth Beach, DE, and drop them three blocks from PedoJoe’s house, with the suggestion they can use his Corvette.

Ha! there only dealing with 100k "migrants", AZ has to deal with at least three times that, with a city as big as NY you would think they would be able to take care of it Smile.

Quote from link:
If we continue the way we are going right now, it’s not sustainable,” Lines said in an interview after the hearing.

“We have received lots of outside help from NGOs (nongovernmental organizations) and from churches assisting,” he said. “Yet the federal administration and the federal government hasn’t done anything to sustain border communities.”

It was at least the third House hearing this year – including one held in Yuma – where officials from Arizona border communities have complained about the costs they have had to bear as migration surges along the southwestern border.

Customs and Border Protection said it encountered more than 1.9 million migrants along the southern border through July – or the first 10 months of fiscal 2023. CBP said 161,534 crossed in the Yuma sector of the border during that time and 273,876 were encountered in the Tucson sector.

For Republicans at the hearing – which was titled “The Financial Costs of Mayorkas’ Open Border” – the source of the problem was obvious: President Joe Biden’s administration and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

“This administration created this southern border circus,” said Rep. Dale Strong, R-Ala. “Illegal aliens throughout America are destroying economies, school systems, hospitals, law enforcement, first responders, court systems, and jails.”

Another common Republican refrain, unrelated to the costs that border communities face, was the threat of fentanyl and human trafficking

My town is 80% Hispanic already (not an exaggeration). I'm sure some, maybe even many are legal, who knows? Can't get any worse where I live. I'm just going to sit back and watch it all burn down for the rest of the administration. Schools have gone from tops in the nation to bottom of the barrel, no parking, can't communicate with my neighbors. My town is already the left's utopia, strange thing I don't understand is why they don't want to live in their utopia.

I think NY should get the money they're requesting.......right after AZ, NM, TX and others are fully compensated for the past 2 or 3 years of expenses..and then bankrolled for the rest of Biden's term.

I won't hold my breath.

Living in NYS is a challenge for me. I have a very successful pest control business and that is the only thing that keeps me here. I have one daughter that is a senior in college and another that is in her first year of PA school. It's the only thing keeping me from moving to a free state. Hochul is one of the worst politicians I have ever been graced with. Swept in due to the covid scandal of Cuomo and then won election vs the guy I voted for, Lee Zeldin. The chickens are going to come home to roost for these arrogant, inept fools. The money this state has already lost with people fleeing is astounding. It will continue.

I have yet to read of any Democratic city, county, or state which has repudiated this unlawful creation of a "sanctuary" for illegal alients. In the interim, they should live with what they have wrought.

There needs to be a widespread loud "WE TOLD YOU SO" from conservatives and the border states when these sanctuary cities finally reach collapse. The voters there need to have their noses rubbed in it so that they understand the shit they voted for and what it caused.

Yes. We got a little preview of this a few years back when all the liberals in Martha’s Vineyard freaked out when they had to actually take in these “migrants” and all of a sudden they became NIMBY’s
