Don’t underestimate, especially when you have multiple drugs involved, which makes the situation invariably worse. Drowsiness/lethargy side effect itself from a therapeutic dose is not going to kill you, but when you get into toxic dose, seizure can develop and that’s going to kill you, when you have no one around to intervene.

Asking the professionals here, is there a way to tell (short of a goodbye note) this was intentional Vs old fashioned death by misadventure?

You would likely need a toxicology report and know how much the average human could have in their body and check if it was way above those levels.

Psychological autopsy can be helpful in determining state of mind. It's not done often, though.

The ME takes his best guess. Usually it's pretty good.

Yeah, sounds right, given what we are told.

Officers said that EMS “responded and pronounced her deceased on scene,” noting that the 911 call was originally for a reported cardiac arrest.

Law enforcement sources later informed TMZ that Burrell’s husband, Stuart Claxton, found her unresponsive on the shower floor just hours after he had last seen her alive.

Sources also told The Post that the Food Network star’s body was found next to dozens of pills.

The article makes it sound like "dozens of pills" were found with her "on the shower floor". That sounds more like suicide than accident.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

"The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth."
