From what was posted in the original post I suspect that this person was actually Trolling the Electorate. I also suspect that this candidate is actually a good conservative Republican of normal sexual balance and likely a practicing Christian. Well shit....this is disturbing to me in a few levels....first, that he/she is fuckin crazy! Second, I have family that lives in that county...always knew they were politically dems in that area but this???? Wtf?
Third, and most important.....I have decided to retire from the firehouse career and actually have a couple job applications outstanding in that county...planning on making a permanent move up there close to my sister.....I’m distressed now! Ugh!

There are a few nooks and crannies in this country (college towns, like the one I live in, generally being around the top of the list) where Republicans are thin enough on the ground that getting, say, elected to a convention or nominated for a county candidacy is surprisingly easy. Between the low level of competitiveness that comes with the extremely low probability of a Republican actually winning the office, and the (obviously related) fact that there simply aren't that many Republicans, there are plenty of local offices that actual Republicans may not bother to run for at all. As you can imagine, these are electoral races that people don't bother to follow closely, either.
