Toured the original near Lancaster, CA, in the 80s I suppose. At that time, Roy and Dale lived on their ranch (the R R ——, no doubt) a short distance away in Apple Valley. I hoped they would stop by, but, no joy.

We had the coolest toys as a kid back then.


While I didn't have that one I had a Mattel "shootin shell" revolver > the best toy ever!

Can you imagine the Liberal Head Explosions today?
Putting an encapsulated sliver of gunpowder on shell with an actual projectile for kids 8 years old?
