I'm sorry that deal needs to include a bag of pucks. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

How about The Panthers. As a team they are playing some great 5-5 hockey _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain. Jack Kerouac

Would have never picked them to make it to the third round. But, I never picked Toronto to make it out of the first. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

Last night Seattle simply outplayed Dallas and frustrated them as well. What impressed me is that Dallas never gave up. I enjoyed that. I’m looking forward to watching game 7.

I wish the NHL would do something about the start times of the West Coast games. I want to watch tonight's Oils/Knights game but with a start time of 10 pm for us on the East Coast it's tough to watch the entire game. _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. ^^^ Agreed. I live out here & it's too late for me, as well. The first two periods were high-level action. Anyway, I did get to see the first two periods, but had to turn it off & go to bed. Watched the first two games; the VGKs have really out played the Panthers. Was expecting a bit tighter match up. Am waiting to see if the change of venue has an impact.

They still could turn it around. This reminds me of a run Anaheim had some years ago. They were charmed beyond belief. They lost in the finals, but their goalie won the Conn Smyth. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

Yeah. I was hopeful for the Panthers with them getting such a good rest after their series against Carolina. In hindsight, they appear to have lost a step or two during the long layoff. Either that or LV is just that much better offensively. 0:01

I was expecting Florida to at least keep it close. Looks like right now they will lose in 4. On a side note the Vegas sweaters are ugly. No one should lose to a team with ugly sweaters. This has been a un-exciting final series overall. A few good spots and some rough stop but overall not a great final unless your a Vegas fan. Close games make for fun exciting hockey. This overall has been a thing but. _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Being a VGK fan, I've actually really enjoyed watching the series! I think the Panthers came into the series thinking they would out muscle and body-slam the VGK. They found out not only was that not going to happen, but they took some serious injuries along the way and learned the VGK was a very fast moving team with some spectacular passing abilities and a goalie who belied his 4th place on the team.

Feels like the soul was drained out of it this year. Dam embarrassing blowout. Panthers were terrible.

I can't find a video of a post game bench interview by Jackie Redmond and Paul Maurice. Its what's best about this game. Gave me great respect for Maurice. He detailed the injuries the Panthers were playing through, and Tkachuk when down with a broken sternum that he tried to play through and just couldn't. Congrats to the Golden Knights. They were a buzz saw in that last game. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

Panthers were terrible? I'm not a Panthers fan (Penguins since 1967...) but the Panthers just ran out of runway. They took out Boston (NHL record points in a season), then Toronto and finally Carolina to get to the Finals. The 4 teams that Florida went through had amassed a total of 470 regular season points this year, a record for the playoffs. And though hockey players and teams don't live on excuses, come to find out that Tkachuk fractured his sternum and 4 ribs on that game 4 hit he took. Ekblad broke his foot in the Boston series blocking a shot....and played through three more series. I'd cut them a bit of slack. In the end though, Vegas had built a deeper team AND utilized a recent salary cap loophole that Tampa first did a few years ago with Kucherov....very expensive player gets hurt in season, put on IR for the season and the team gets cap relief and can bring in player(s) to augment the team up to the cap....but when the regular season ends, there is no salary cap for the playoffs because the players salaries are all paid out in the regular season....no salary cap left to manage for the playoffs, so that star player returns and it doesn't matter how much salary a team has "on the books" for the regular season, and they get a fresh, rested superstar back in the lineup. Vegas did it with Mark Stone this year. I think that loophole will close in the next collective bargaining agreement, but who knows. Oh, yeah, and I had VGK at +1300 on a free bet from MGM Sportsbook. Picked them before the season ended, so they are putting new tires on the 4Runner with the payout. _

^^^^^ Yup...I just think the Panthers finally met their match physically in the playoffs and got their asses handed to them. They ousted my Bruins from the first round with their physical play that literally pushed the Bruins around...they couldn't handle it. In my not so humble opinion, though, I believe they could have had an ENTIRE TEAM of Matt Tkachuks in Game 5 and Vegas would have still kicked their asses. Vegas was/is just that good this year. And it's a welcome sight for me to see a couple of Bruins connections FINALLY hoist the cup...Reilly Smith, an ORIGINAL VGK who went to Vegas when he became a UFA with the Bruins, and of course Coach Cassidy...REALLY PROUD of the team he put together in Vegas and he FULLY deserves this win. Despite how well Jim Montgomery coached the Bruins this year, Coach Bruce has a CLEAR reason to rub this in the Bruins' organization faces. CONGRATULATIONS VEGAS!!!! Vegas may have benefitted from Mark Stone being on IR, but if you believe A pro athlete took the better part of a season off and had possibly career ending back surgery as part of some elaborate scheme to make cap space, that is a little much. The better team won, why can't that be enough?

I should qualify my negativity. I saw 0 games until the finals. They came back great in the 3rd game, but the final game was horrible. I know they lost Tkachuk. I was just disappointed by how it played out. I wanted FL to win.
