Wife’s 2015 Forester broke a rear spring last fall. Replaced spring & two new struts at Subaru dealer. $683. About three weeks she received a letter from Subaru stating they were having issues with rear spring breaking. Make an appointment to have Subaru replace free of charge. The letter stated if you had a broken spring replaced send receipt and they would reimburse. Received a check today for the full $683. Surpised me I thought they would only reimburse for spring replacement.

That’s what they should have done. Your model Forester is part of the spring recall. It’s a defect: https://www.torquenews.com/108...and-crosstrek-coming ——————————————— The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Psalm 14:1
