Are those the same “French Intelligence” folks that didn’t see the Panzers moving through the Ardennes in 1940, right ?This message has been edited. If you take a step back and look at Macron’s statement, that’s all you need to know. He accepted them as being “French”. So, in the prophetic words of the Captain: “ What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.” I hope Manny Macron enjoys his schawarma. I hope he enjoys it to the point where he’s gonna choke on it. ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. NFL To Paint 'Allahu Akbar' In Endzone For Game In Paris "PARIS — To accommodate modern French sensibilities, the NFL has announced that their first ever game to take place in Paris will include special endzone messaging by having "Allahu Akbar" painted onto the field. While not unusual for the NFL to paint social justice-oriented political messages into the endzone, such as "Inspire Change," "End Racism," and "Vote," this will be their first overtly religious message. The upcoming game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints will be the first time the NFL has played a game Paris, so they wanted the message to be more suitable for the occasion. "We really want to make a good impression on our hosts," said NFL spokesperson Roger Manning. "They go nuts for anything about Allah over there, so we think this will be met with a very positive reception. Also, we don't want to get bombed by terrorists." Security questions have been raised about holding an NFL game in Paris while the city is on fire, but officials have assured the NFL that the protests are just about student affordability concerns and nothing else. A survey of Parisians indicated that 83% of respondents believe the NFL's "Allahu Akbar" message will be a unifying, uplifting statement that will remind France what being French is all about. At publishing time, the NFL was installing minarets atop the stadium to accommodate the Adhan, or the Muslim call to prayer, during the very French halftime show." https://babylonbee.com/news/nf...ne-for-game-in-paris *************************** Knowing more by accident than on purpose.

“Updated 13:16, 24 October 2026 Violence erupted across France as more than 400,000 people took part in mass protests against President Emmanuel Macron's embattled government for the second weekend in a row. Tear gas, baton charges and water cannons were used by riot police as protests took place in Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes and Marseille on a Saturday described as 'the longest day' by law and order officials. A huge security operation ensured that the latest round of mass protests were less destructive than last Saturday's mayhem, which led to at least 2,500 arrests and the looting of some 2,000 shops and small businesses. But yesterday's marches were still scarred by masked gangs of thugs and hard-Left agitators who attacked police and set light to cars and dustbins in cities around the country, from Lille on the Belgian border to Marseille on the Mediterranean coast. In the latest incidents, around 400 anarchists from the so-called 'black bloc' movement went on the rampage in the Alpine city of Grenoble, southeastern France, and 'attacked the police with anything they could find', local officials said. There were 63 arrests in Nice, where youths burned cars and dustbins, including some activists from the far-Right, according to authorities. In Rennes, police used a water cannon and two armoured vehicles to push back protesters after 11,500 people gathered. Officers made 52 arrests. And in Orleans, south of Paris, some 15,000 demonstrators tried to disrupt the annual congress of the far-Right National Rally party. Across France, police made nearly 1,000 arrests according to government officials. …” https://mol.im/a/16235069 Serious about crackers.

That NFL thing- so they have been known to persecute and silence Christian players over the years pretty harshly. But all of a sudden a tribute to another religion is ok. What a mess.

The NFL story is satire. What’s not satire is lost tourist dollars. I know a couple traveling in England and they decided to cancel a day trip to Paris. I’m sure thousands of others also skipped France. “That’s what.” - She

Democrats scheme to turn the US into France — riots and all By David Harsanyi “This is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few,” says prospective 2028 presidential candidate Rep. Ro Khanna about the mass rioting and social unrest unfolding in France. As with most issues, the far-left Californian has it backward: The economic and social ideas dear to his own Democratic Party are what have destabilized France. France, after all, is home to socialized medicine, high minimum wages, powerful unions, some of the most generous worker protections in the world, big government spending and a massive welfare state. France’s Gini index, the standard measure of income inequality, is just under 32, around the European Union average. Of course income inequality, the hobbyhorse of the American left, is completely irrelevant in and of itself; France ranks right in the middle worldwide by that measure, between the stable and wealthy Western democracy of Japan and the destitute Asian tyranny of Myanmar. Rioters didn’t set fire to the majestic 19th-century Limoges town hall because they’re angry about France’s ranking in global income parity. They were triggered in large part by the French government’s alleged “austerity” plans. France spends an inordinate amount of its budget on welfare and social protection programs — a larger percentage than virtually any nation on Earth. Since 1995, social and welfare spending has risen from 53% to nearly 59% of the country’s budget. It will never be enough for rioters. Because such a significant percentage of its budget is dedicated to keeping the welfare state operational, any reforms aimed at reducing spending or debt will be greeted with immediate social turmoil. France’s public debt is approaching 120% of gross domestic product, and is projected to rise to around 122% soon. The government recently proposed reducing the budget deficit from an expected 5.4% of GDP in 2026 to 5% in 2027. In other words, young French people are destroying their cities over a proposed deficit reduction of 0.4 percentage points of GDP. To pay for this system, France has among the highest tax rates in the developed world. Employer social security contributions average around 45% of gross salary, while employee contributions add another 22% to 25%. The tax on consumer goods is 20%. That’s a heavy burden for productive members of French society. But over 50% of French households don’t pay any income tax: Despite benefiting from the system, they are untethered from the responsibilities of paying for it. Other nations with generous social welfare programs, such as Denmark, also have high levels of social cohesion, and virtually every household pays some income tax. “We spend too much money, and we strip people of responsibility,” President Emmanuel Macron said back in 2018. “An insane amount we spend on minimal welfare payments, but people are still poor . . . We have to do something to get people out of this situation.” France has one of the highest unemployment rates in Europe and one of the lowest retirement ages. Youth unemployment is over 21%; it’s 9% in the United States, and we rightly consider it a problem. Unemployment among Muslim youth is far higher — and over 34% of France’s young people have immigrant parents or grandparents, most from Muslim-majority countries. Over 15% of the population in the Paris metropolitan area is Muslim. And despite the media’s best efforts to convince us otherwise, plenty of the recent violence appears to be connected to Muslim immigrants and the nihilistic Palestinianism that Khanna champions. Riots will radicalize politics. Many French people detest anarchy, which might bode well for right-wing opposition leader Marine Le Pen in the next election — but should she succeed, that too will almost surely lead to more social unrest. It’s true that the French have never needed much excuse to riot. France saw major social unrest every year from 2005 through 2009, then in 2018 and 2019, in 2023, in 2025 and again this year. Many of those riots have been driven by reliance on government handouts or by Muslims living in the Paris suburbs. The more you hook people on state dependency, the less likely they are to break free of it. https://nypost.com/2026/10/25/...7f&mc_eid=08a17634d4 "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

But still a very valid question. "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

It's more about the Team than the NFL, there is a documentary about it on tubi "Just one before I die" about Buffalo. It has a couple parts to it and is rather long, living in Buffalo back then I can say it's pretty much true. Some cities need something positive. The Braves, Sabres and Bills, the city has yet to have a championship team.
