I was hesitant to take the conversation to the political zone so quickly, but I kept thinking the exact same question while thinking about the tragic loss of this young man.

There's a push to have a military funeral for this hero. He was in college ROTC.
I think it's fitting. I hope they do.
Outside of the investigation, and not related to my position at work, I indirectly know of the employee of the gunshop whom sold the gun to the suspect. He is devastated.
Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

I just don't understand how someone could do this. And I am grateful for young men like Riley. The best outcome has been the focus on this hero not the insanity of the shooter.
