After months of telling myself we don't need another car, this one is stupid, can't drive it all year long, blah,, blah, blah...my wife told me to go ahead and order one - so I did - in Dark Highland Green. V-8, 480 HP, 6-speed manual.

The last car I had that was anything like this was my '69 Road Runner 40 years ago.

Now I wait for a month or two...

Beautiful color. Deep green is one of my favorite car colors, and I rarely see it on cars today...

Agree! Second only (for me at least) to British Racing Green.

They are only offered in black and the traditional Bullitt green.

The dealer told me they had lots of inquiries until people found out it only comes with 3 pedals - no automatic trans! Perfect for me.

Not more than MSRP; maybe less depending if my X-plan pricing is valid on a Bullitt. I will do my best to burn up the rear tires before the first snow falls.

And yes, she's a keeper Smile

Two of the best Radar Detectors on the market today are the Valentine I and Escort 360.

I believe the OP is going to need one.

What a shame. I know that they make auto transmissions faster than what a lot of us non-professional drivers shift. But what is the fun of a high HP car in an auto?

Awesome car, congratulations!!!!

The latest camaros and mustangs are great. I have a 17 Camaro SS, but I will say I have a lot of respect for the new 'stangs too.

And the new Bullitt! Hot damn!!!

Very nice. Enjoy. Sorry to see Ford will stop making cars moving forward, but the Mustang will be one of two they continue to make. My guess is that in the case of the Mustang, they can create high performance iterations like the Bullitt where they can actually make some money, and don't have to compete directly with the likes of Toyota and Honda. They also know the demographic likely to purchase these are aging and have the disposable income.

Nice!

There was a thread here a while back....

https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...935/m/3670058044/p/1

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
