SBrooks said what I was going to. Old, sour gas seems to work better on yellow jackets than fresh stuff does. Wait until late, say after the 11 pm news, then pour it down the holes. The fumes do them in every time. Don't light it, the fumes will get them.

rburg how much are you talking about? One gallon of 2-stroke gasoline mix only has around 2.5 ounces of 2-stroke oil blended in, not enough to cause any harm to your vehicle (or it's catalytic converter IMO) when diluted in 15 gallons of gasoline. Even if there's a bit of water in it the ethanol (think Dry Gas) present will mix it all together.

A lot of people (me included) add just a tiny bit of ashless 2-stroke oil to gasoline for their mowers, ATV, etc. which provides some lubrication to the top end, valve guides etc. (In all honesty I believe that is what some "miracle gas additives" are.)

I'm not advocating everyone do this at all, but it illustrates that 2 ounces of oil in 15 gallons of gasoline isn't going to harm a thing. Hell some engines burn more than that continuously.

My next thought is to help for the future. If you use real non ethanol fuel premixed. it will last an incredibly long time. years. so you don't have this problem in the future.

I'm not advocating it, but I have a family member who has a beautiful cement driveway with nary a weed in any of the expansion joints. His week killer comes from a red plastic container that says gasoline on the side.
