That’s the Sunseeker Resort on the north end of Charlotte Harbor.

Wanna freak somebody out? Put up one of those as a nuke mushroom cloud, and set off a loud bang. They are kind of cool though. I'd never heard of it until they had one on the news a few months ago. A drone swarm display, that is, not a nuke.

We definitely live in a different world with drones, AI, cell phones, etc. I miss the days of a pager and a pay phone. That said, the drone display looks like it would be cool to see.

I tried to get video, but it was just too far away using my phone. The lights changed colors and the displays were animated, the mermaid was waving for example. It was really impressive.
