What the difference between a trampoline and a banjo?

You take your shoes off to jump on a trampoline.

My daughter is dumbfounded by this. She has no problem with it she just like the rest of us don't know where that came from!

So I said well, ya don't say! I just ordered a Hohner Marine Band Crossover harmonica off Amazon a few minutes ago. Cool

Truth is about 15 years ago I played around on the harmonica and got good enough to play a few songs. you Tube wasn't much back then but now there is all kinds of instructional video's online. Besides now I'm retired and will have several hours alone at home in the morning to practice while the wife is working.

I'm not telling a soul until I get to where I can do some blues riffs well enough that I'm not going to make anyone's ears bleed!

Fun times ahead!! Big Grin

Bet if your daughter looks she'll find a Deliverence DVD in the house. BTW, Harmonica and Banjo are two instruments that go together quite often and quite well.

I've stopped counting.

Well, I think it's a great idea. Sounds like he has a lot of pluck. String him along and see how it goes.

A banjo is a very cool instrument! Listen to the songs you listen to. Really listen!

Steve Seagulls is great.

Banjo is one of those things I want to take up when I've got more time some day. I loved the sound of Earl Scruggs, and Lester Flatt. Dueling banjos, of course, but the banjo to me is a fantastic instrument that awes me when true talent plays. The mandolin, too.

Someone jumped on the bagpipe, but there's nothing that cuts through me like a bagpipe. I love the sound.

And with that...dueling bagpipes...

Heck, I don't mind a banjo at all. It's those bagpipes that drive me crazy.
