Lovely indeed. For those of you who don’t know, UNT here in my hometown of Denton, Texas has one of the most revered and respected music schools and programs in the world.

Beautiful. No instrument like the human voice. And a whole bunch of them together...exquisite.

Having lived in the area decades ago, it was a song we heard on occasion, and it was our region's version of Dixie Land. Haven't heard it in years now and, sadly, it isn't sung much anymore, or even appreciated the way it once was.

That was a real treat.

Beautifully done a cappella. I have a version of Shenandoah in my music library by Sissel. Hers is beautiful, too

I am a sucker for a beautiful female voice; the kind that gently pierces the harmony of the choir and captures my heart.

It is redeeming to know there is still such beauty in this world. We often tend to focus only on the ugly.

Thanks.

Gorgeous.

That’s the arrangement by James Erb. I’ve conducted it many times, and it brings me chills every time, like it’s the first.
