bubbatimeJapanese billionaire to be the first tourist to orbit the Moon.
If the launch is about 5 years away give or take, whats the over - under on if Musk is in prison by then?
5 years for Space X and Tesla financials to unravel in spectacular fashion. Maybe the Japanese guy just burned a few billion dollars, up in smoke never to be seen again.

t least SOMEBODY is going. Only about 16 men have ever visited the moon. It's high time we bump those numbers up. . .
All this guy is getting is a much better view of it. Not like he's setting foot on it which is a much more difficult task.
Put my life in the hands of these guys??

Eight of 22 top executives at auto suppliers surveyed by an industry association said they were worried about Tesla filing for bankruptcy, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Additionally, 18 of the 22 respondents reportedly said that they now believe that Tesla is a financial risk to their companies.

Actually 24 Americans have flown "to the Moon" (in orbit) and 14 of those set foot on the surface.
Yeah Tesla may be going down in flames but SpaceX seems to have a bright future - at least if the US wants to continue supporting ISS operations and flying people into orbit in the next 5-10 years - as "Orion" isn't schedule to fly people around the Moon until MAYBE 2023 when SLS EM-2 is currently scheduled - however Orion continues to slide right, so it could be 2024 or 2025 before a NASA owned / operated rocket actually gets Americans back into orbit.

I was going from memory. Point being, I wouldn't care if it were a North Korean or Iranian going. As long as SOMEBODY goes.
It is humanity's shame that humans haven't been there in 40 years.

Only 12 set foot on the surface (2 each from 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17). Due to the problem on Apollo 13, that planned landing had to be scrubbed; the crew made a loop around the moon and, fortunately, came home safely.
