They also overlook the hundreds of millionaires in Congress.

^^^This was the point I was trying to make a page or two back. Yang is intelligent and well spoken. Certainly not a screamer or panderer. I don't agree with his positions on a number of topics, but I could see myself sitting across a table civilly debating issues with him.

But again, given the current insane, socialist, state of the Dem party, Yang doesn't have a prayer of winning anything.

Yeah, Yang seems, at least so far, a reasonable person who will debate in good faith. UBI is supposedly something even Milton Friedman was a proponent of, but I don't know how his version compares to Yang's. I'm extremely skeptical of it, but willing to learn more in light of the possibility of mass unemployment due to advances in AI and robotics. I think his "trickle up" part of the argument for it is foolish, and disagree with him on multiple other stances, but at least he doesn't seem fully insane, like most of the rest of them.

It'd be nice if one of the moderators would ask Old Joe why if the economy is in such a sad state why is he trying to take credit for it?

I'd love to hear the answer.

I agree with you guys on Yang. BOTH parties could use a little more of this man's attributes, but the Dems are almost void of them. Yang stands out (from an intelligent perspective) from the otherwise mostly sorrowful gaggle of political ho's in this primary. It's been frankly stupid thus far. Question is, how stupid are the voters?

Its the quiet ones you have to watch out for, the rest are openly expressing their ideology and you know where they stand.

He was quiet for 2 reasons:

1. They never called on him.
2. His mic was cut off unless they called on him. (He makes this claim, and video seems to confirm it.)

As previously mentioned, Ben Shaprio did a recent, long interview with him. Same for Dave Rubin (the Rubin Report). Again, I'm not saying I want the guy to be president, but he so far seems the type of person who I think would raise the quality political discussion on the D's side - low bar, I know.

The only way I could be convinced to voted D would be if they offered me a spaceship with faster than light capability.

Even then I’d take payment upfront only.

What amazes me is the heavy baggage carried by the two leading female contenders. One has lied her way to promotion by falsely claiming to be a minority and the other has gotten promoted by lying on her back. I guess lying down or lying by falsehoods is the way ahead in the Dem Party.
