| Of the chains, Papa John's used to be the best, but became basically inedible in the past 8-10 years. My wife found a couple Domino's deals over the past couple years that got her to order from them a few times when she needed something quick and couldn't cook, and it frankly wasn't bad. I can, and sometimes do, make my own pizza dough and cook Neapolitan style on the kamado grill (and it is generally fantastic), and we have a local place that does a really nice pie (maybe ok for two, but not one big enough for 3) but it's a $50 outing for the three of us. Domino's meets a need, and is edible for what it is. Costco is also good, but not delivery. PJ's has turned to junk, I haven't had Pizza Hutt in years but no-one's raving about them, or even mentioning them in the pizza conversation. |
