It's a Hawker Hunter...

because I read all the posts before mine.

I wouldn't recognize one if it came and bit me in the ass.

I suspect if only a portion of the plane was shown, someone here would have still been able to ID it correctly.

^ We had a running 'guess that car' thread on a car forum I'm on, pretty tough, but probably a bit easier than planes for most.

It is a bit easier if you grew up in a British colony, saw them flying about, and built Airfix models of them.

The one pictured in sjtill 's post is the 2-seater version that had side-by-side seating
