ID That Airplane
It's a Hawker Hunter...

because I read all the posts before mine.

I wouldn't recognize one if it came and bit me in the ass.

I suspect if only a portion of the plane was shown, someone here would have still been able to ID it correctly.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

^ We had a running 'guess that car' thread on a car forum I'm on, pretty tough, but probably a bit easier than planes for most.

It is a bit easier if you grew up in a British colony, saw them flying about, and built Airfix models of them.

The one pictured in sjtill 's post is the 2-seater version that had side-by-side seating
