I made it to DC late afternoon yesterday. The bulk of the drive from NH through NYC and southward was good. Literally never touched the brakes going through NYC. Massive tie ups northbound.

Staying the day - Saturday - quiet. Might go to The Mall. DC has a different feel to it from my last visit. Staying in Crystal City. Picked this location because of its proximity to Reagan National where Bruce is flying out tomorrow.

No trash. No homeless. No graffiti that I can see here. But the Mall will tell me what the real place is like.

Sort of looking forward to seeing the WH. I hit the road with a new driving assistant tomorrow.

Don’t feel great but not as bad as a week ago. A few minor twinges but nothing to make me grab the nitro.
